Staff explained the agreement clearly, and the written permission for cross-border travel to Kyrgyzstan was ready as requested. Returned the car in Tashkent five days later - inspection took ten minutes.
Booked a Lada Niva for a week in January to reach Chimgan Mountains and Charvak Reservoir. Snow on the pass required proper ground clearance, and the part-time 4WD engaged without fuss.
